Dr. Chenn Zhou was invited to speak at the 2017 HPC4Mfg Industry Engagement Day: Spurring Innovation in U.S. Manufacturing Through Advanced Computing, on behalf of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the Department of Energy’s Advanced Manufacturing Office.
Dr. Zhou participated on the “HPC4Mfg Project Status and Impact” panel and spoke about the Blast Furnace HPC4Mfg project and the impacts it will have on energy efficiency, clean energy technology and innovation for members of the US Steel industry.The goal of this conference is to bring together members from the U.S. manufacturing community, Department of Energy Offices, national laboratories, and universities to discuss the current state of manufacturing globally and within the U.S, and the role HPC has played in advancing its innovation.
