CIVS is pleased to welcome Prasanth P. Nair as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN), specializing in high-speed propulsion and air–fuel mixing enhancement strategies. He was a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) at IITGN and an ANRF Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellow at Purdue University.
His expertise spans computational fluid dynamics (CFD), high-speed aerothermodynamics, supersonic combustion, rotating detonation engines, and advanced data-driven flow analysis methods such as POD and DMD. Prasanth will begin his research and work in CIVS on the $10 million DOE H2RF project.
