US Cold Storage Visits CIVS During PNW Tour

On September 6th, representatives from US Cold Storage visited CIVS during their campus tour of Purdue University Northwest. The visit included a CIVS overview in the Immersive Theater and a simulator demonstration in the Visualization Lab. The CIVS team was joined by General Manager Adam Ashley and Operations Manager Jacob McChristian from US Cold Storage- Lebanon. US Cold Storage’s ongoing initiatives allow for several potential areas of collaboration with the visualization and simulation teams at CIVS.

US Cold Storage recently broke ground on a 245,730-square-foot automated refrigerated warehouse facility on 27 acres at the northwest corner of Interstate 65 and Indiana 2 near Lowell, Indiana. The new facility is just one of 42 world-class facilities across 13 states: California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

The nearly 100-year-old company is dedicated to being the leader in providing highly reliable and cost-effective logistics solutions to the frozen and refrigerated food industry, giving their customers the competitive edge they need to succeed in the ever-changing business environment.
